Wild
Water Adventures, LLC is in search of dynamic and witty
individuals to fill open positions as white water rafting
guids. Guiding for Wild Water Adventures, LLC is not an
easy task. We seek guides with a passion for the river and
a genuine intent to provide the best possible experience
for our clients. We seek guides that have a desire to learn
and the ability to teach. We seek guides that exhibit
positive attitudes. Wild Water Adventures, LLC guides
deliver the highest levels of service because we love what
we do, we endeavor to entertain our clients and we go to
great lengths to positively impact the lives of others. It
also beats flipping burgers.
Requirements
• Currently, we can only accept applicants who can legally
work in the United States
• New applicants in 2008 must be available to work during
the North American summer From June 1st to September 30th
Duties
and Responsibilities
• Safely navigate oar/paddle boats and/or kayaks (guide
school available for those needing training)
• Seek to provide our guests with the best outdoor
experience possible
• Present facts about the region’s natural and human
history
• Provide a positive role model for children and facilitate
kid-friendly activities
• Care for Wild Water Adventures equipment
• Adhere to Seven Principles of Leave No Trace at all times
• Be a steward of the rivers and natural areas in which we
travel
• Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications
• CPR and First-Aid Certified (WFR/SWR a plus)
• Customer service experience or superb people skills
• Experience or willingness to work with young children and
adolescents
• Capable of working long hours
• Physically fit
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English
• Non-Smoker
• Creative approach to problem solving
• Basic computer knowledge
• Class C Drivers License
